Whatever the celebration, our 12 strong specialist Indian catering team offer unrivalled authentic Indian food with the flexibility to provide local recipes from many regions in India, with expertise in signature dishes such as Keralan Prawns, Malabari Fish Curry, Chettinad biryani, Andhra Tomato Pappu, Dhaba murgh and Kashmiri Zafrani pulao.
Each of our specialist chefs grew up in India where they began their catering training, before finessing their culinary skills in some of India’s most established luxury hospitality names such as Oberoi, Taj and ITC Hotels Luxury Collection.
Heading up our Indian catering team is senior sous chef Uday Shankar who himself was trained by his father, before starting formal training at the prestigious Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development where he was taught by world class chefs such as Rajiv Gulshan.
Prices for seated Indian events at The Dorchester start from £185 per person for up to 500 guests.
